So whats up with the lack of quality blogs in New Zealand? Maybe New Zealanders (generally speaking)are not as aware of technologies emerging on the internet Blogs, flickr, rss etc.. as other countries? Perhaps we dont like talking about ourselves as much as your average american? Maybe its as simple as lack of population?
Hopefully in anothers years time you will have a lot more contenders for the Spacemonkeys. Fingers crossed, we need more NZ related blogs.
Well, there are a lot of bad blogs everywhere and the top few in NZ stand up really well, I think. Miss Vile is getting increasingly good as is your blog and error404 is bot technically striking and has good content (sorry poetry).
Yes a lot haven't developed their blogs as far as they could and maybe don't understand how easy it is if you venture into templates etc. It can be quite intimidating at first (as I can attest), but you pretty soon get a rough knack idea of how they work.
And all the plug ins and stuff you can add - I think blogs are the Vespas of the internet, you can just keep bolting on new stuff and badges and stuff until you're way the coolest kid on the street.
