If you want blood (you've got it) - AC/DC
The first song that came to my head was....
"I'm in the mood for dancing" by the Nolan Sisters.
Think I've had too much pre-Christmas sherry!
"Saturday night's alright for fighting" - Elton John
Hit me with your best shot - Pat Benatar
Who sang "Die Yuppy Scum"?
And "Fuck the Police" - NWA
'Die Yuppie Die' was by Painters and Dockers but i don't think it applies in this case. Nor, probably does 'Kill the Poor' by Dead Kennedys
More nit picking:
The Chumbawumba song is Tub Thumping; 'Burning down the house' is by Talking Heads; 'There's a riot going on' is an album title not a song.
Pass. Though they'd obviously sing that lovingly PC Cure anthem, Killing an Arab, first.
Talking Heads fixed, thanks. I suspect most such distinctions may be lost in the heat of battle.
"'There's a riot going on' is an album title not a song."
Yeah, P Didymo, I think the song was actually called Cell Block Number 9, right?
Jethro Tull's Thick As A Brick comes to mind.
"There's a Riot Going On" is track 11 on Organix, a 1997 CD by the Roots.
Anyway, why can't you chant an album title, rocksnob? I just tried it. Works for me.
"Bring Your Daughter to The Slaughter" by Iron Maiden
there's a Dave Dobby song where the chorus goes 'These are my kind of people' over and over. Tailor-made.
A few of obvious omissions,
Ice Cube's - Make it Rough
Eddy Grant - Electric Avenue
The Jam's - Eton Rifles or, In the Street
Hate on every pavement
Paranoia on shop doorways
The kids want some action
And who can fucking blame them now
It's all so sickening, and we're so satisfied
